About Our Firm

We focus exclusively on California family law because families deserve depth, not generalities. Our mission is simple: deliver clear guidance, practical strategy, and steady advocacy through life’s most personal legal matters.

How we work

  • Clarity first: We explain the process, options, and likely outcomes up front so you can make informed decisions.
  • Settlement-minded: We aim for efficient, durable agreements; when court is necessary, we litigate with precision.
  • Local insight: We tailor case strategy to San Bernardino County court procedures and expectations.

Attorney

Heather A. Lewis is the Managing Partner and Certified Family Law Specialist (State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization), certified since October 2019. She has represented families in family law matters since 2014. Her practice focuses on divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support (alimony), and property division.

With a JD from University of La Verne and a Bachelor's in Psychology, Heather takes a settlement-minded approach, emphasizing clear strategy, practical timelines, and conflict reduction—especially in high-conflict cases—while keeping children’s well-being at the forefront.

New approaches to divorce

Less adversarial models can reduce conflict, cost, and delay while keeping decisions with the family:

Divorce mediation: A facilitated, confidential process that helps parties negotiate a workable agreement. Common topics include:

  • Child custody and visitation and parenting schedules
  • Child support
  • Spousal support (alimony)
  • Property and debt division

Collaborative divorce: A team-based approach in which both spouses and their attorneys (and neutral professionals as needed) problem solve together to reach durable agreements without court.
